"Oysters and lemons"

Oil on museum quality ampersand gessobord panel - 6" x 8"

Hey, what can I say? Oysters are fun to paint! These guys modeled for me at the Cross Street Market in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore.

Lovely, Mark! I'm amazed at the beauty of your food paintings, especially these lowly oysters.

Love your paintings. How many cats do you have?

Thanks, Cheryl. I have 4 cats and 2 cats. J.J., Sammy, Ella, and Shirley live inside and Piper and Bristol are feral, but well taken care of, outside.
