"Gideon"

Oil on museum quality Ampersand Gessobord™ panel 8" x 10"

Once again I have been called into service to paint someone's dearly departed companion. This is Gideon in younger and happier days. I'm told he had 15 wonderful years with his owner since being adopted from Cocker Spaniel Rescue of New England. Rest in Peace Gideon.

He is just gorgeous - I love his sad, sweet eyes. And the color palate is just yummy. You're totally back.

From Gideon's mom - words cannot begin to express how beautifully you've captured the spirit of my little Gideon. It's my Gids in those big, beautiful eyes.

Gideon a eu la chance d'avoir la plus fantastique des maitresses .La connaissant bien , ce portrait, à travers sa douceur et son réalisme ne pourra que soulager la peine qu'elle continue de ressentir depuis son départ.
(Gideon has been so lucky to find the most fantastic owner. The way I know her , this portrait will be, throught its realism and sweetness, the best way to relieve her pain since Gedeon left. Thanks you. Sorry for my bad english!!!)
